Employees
In Pulse, you manage all employees centrally via the employee index page. This is where you create new employees and send invitations. “User” or “Account User” are other common terms for employees.
Creating Employees
Section titled “Creating Employees”To create a new employee, all you need to enter is a name – this is the only required field.
Optionally, you can also enter an email address and an employee number.
Invitation Process
Section titled “Invitation Process”Each employee has a status that changes during the invitation process:
Status “created”
Section titled “Status “created””Automatically set when you create a new employee – without sending an invitation.
Status “invited”
Section titled “Status “invited””Set as soon as you send an invitation via email.
Status “active”
Section titled “Status “active””As soon as the employee opens and accepts the invitation link, the status is set to “active”.
Status “deactivated”
Section titled “Status “deactivated””When a user is deactivated, they are logged out of the account immediately and cannot login to the account again. The employee’s profile remains accessible for administrators.
If the employee was invited before they accepted the invitation, the status is set to “deactivated” and the invitation is automatically revoked.
Deactivated employees can be reactivated at any time. If the employee already had access to Pulse, this will be restored and the employee will be set to “active”. If not, to “created”.
Opening Employee Profile
Section titled “Opening Employee Profile”The employee index page is the entry point to each individual profile. Clicking on the employee’s name takes you to their profile.

- Edit employee
- Delete employee
